Community Memorial Healthcare Foundation and our dedicated team of committee members are thrilled to reach a milestone in our efforts to save lives – the 20th Annual Gold Dust Gala. We couldn’t have arrived at this landmark moment without the amazing support of donors and individual benefactors who have partnered with us to fund a unique and vital source of care for women in our community.

Imagine getting the phone call and hearing that dreadful phrase, “breast cancer.” Every two minutes, a woman is diagnosed with this life-threatening disease. It could be your neighbor, your sister, a friend, your mother, your wife … even yourself. Tamara Leckie received that shocking news. Then the fear of facing this medical crisis without insurance brought a second wave of panic. Fortunately, she was referred to the Breast Center, located at Community Memorial Hospital, where she discovered that she qualified for our free, state-of-the-art care.

Our efforts and your support have never been more critical. Everyday, more and more women are losing their medical benefits or simply can no longer afford coverage. By sponsoring the Gold Dust Gala and joining us on April 17th, you’re providing women a chance to be screened, and for many just like Tamara, given quality care that gives them the chance to battle devastating diseases that has taken too many too soon.
